New Boat Cover
Its just about time to release my mobius from captivity... but i need a new cover before i take it out of the garage.
Where can I get new a cover for my 2000 Moomba Mobius? I want a full cover, and I want it to be the right cover for the boat... either I want the factory intended cover, or if you guys can suggest anything better -- as long as its custom to the boat.
Thanks.

This is the best cover I have ever had. It is towable, waterproof, fits boat exactly and is easy to clean.

I don't know for sure but so far it seems that a local fabricator will be about your best bet. You will get custom fit, installation how you like and custom color for probably the same price as a catalogue cover. You should look into it anyway.

rankin and evolution covers (used to be covercraft) are awesome cover. they will last for year, towable and require no poles.
for a little less you might check with skiboatcovers.com

Mat, Qb: Those sound pretty good, any idea on cost for these covers you mentioned for a 20'6" w/ tower? Ballpark is fine.

cover
I tried to order a cover from rankin last year and they did not have a template for my 99 mobius DD. Cost would have been about $750. I also called evolutions and go the same answer. I ended up buying from overtons and have been very happy with my sharkskin cover (cost approx. $300)
Good Luck

That's my point, for around 750 you can get a custom one done locally. Last one I bought was 650 installed, and built the way I wanted and the color I wanted.
Serious you should look into custom made local

I got my cover made a few years back for $400 and it's made from Topgun and is expected to last 12-15 years. The down side is the material is heavy. It appears that Rankin uses the same material as they describe the it. If you get one custom made you need to get it in soon as they tend to keep the boat for a while.

The factory tops are made by Great Lakes Boat Tops and I am sure they will have the pattern for your boat. www.greatlakesboattop.com
