    Default BoatMate Brakes burnt up!

I have a 2005 Mobius boat with a trailer made by BoatMate and have a few questions if I may.

I have already burned up the brakes from all the mountains here. Now I need new pads and possibly a rotor.

    1. Does anyone where I can get parts here in Salt Lake City Utah?
    2. Can anyone tell me who services these trailers here?

    Thanks a Bunch,
    Marty

    Replacement Parts
All replacement parts can be purchased from the trailer manufacturer or
UNIQUE FUNCTIONAL PRODUCTS. Replacement pads, pistons and
dust boots can also be purchased from auto part stores:

    1997-2000 Kia Sephia
NOTE: Use only organic, non-metallic pads. Metallic pads will rust and
    depreciate rotor surface.

I'm not sure about the rotors...

Do you have the original packet that came with the boat. It seems like the breaking system is the same as one of the Kia cars. Calipers, rotors and pads are all supposed to be from one of those cars. It states it somewhere in the trailer guide that is in the BIG packet. I will check for specifics when I get home if someone esle does not chime in.

    Default Thanks a bunch!

I didn't mention the boat is a 2005 Mob XLV if that matters. JesseC, I didn't get any packet for the trailer. Do you know if I can download it if so where??

    Thanks,
    Marty

    Default Refund

Sorry for the late post on this but you might want to check with the dealer. This is a known issue with the brakes. My dealer refunded me the amount of the parts and labor.
