Wakesurfing
Since we dont have a wakesurfing section.
How do you wakesurf?
I am a footer, the faster the better, I always say.
I don't get it!
I have an 2007 outback with the factory ballast, and we tried all kind of different speeds last year, even tried it with a rope and it just did not work.
I must assume I was doing something wrong.
Tips?It is better barefoot!

Ed can tune you in probally better than most. what I've heard him say and has worked for us, load about 600# sac across back of boat, another 600# up the side by engine compartment, (you will be lisping heavy to one side) get boarder up and start around 9-12mph until a good pocket forms, drop in and enjoy. It takes some tweaking, after you get it figured out you can make some l-o-n-g rides.

Shoot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Learn something new every day. I had no idea you corner-load the boat but it makes perfect sense, i.e., you never cross the wake . . . Duh! I'll have some answers for my surfer little brother who grew up at Sebastian Inlet and got me started wakeboarding but wants to try some wake surfing. Thanks!
