Wakeboard Rack Rubber

At the end of last season, I had trouble with the rubber in my wakeboard racks and the rubber streaking my boards, and dripping black when i washed the boat.

Someone suggested keeping the rubber soaked with armour all, but that is very messy. Anyone have this problem?

I have the same problem. I have been thinking of what else to do, my friend dipped his in that rubber tool handle coating. Tape everything off and it may work for our type of racks.

these were a gift from a relative, they have no name on them , so I don't know where they came from

but they meant well, so I can't trash them yet.....

My waterski rack uses large "O" ring material inserted in agroove so I pulled out the rubber and replaced it.
