    Default Marine Certified Subwoofer

I am looking at upgrading my sound system over the winter and first on the list is a subwoofer. I'd be interested to know how many people went with a marine certified sub vs. an regular sub. I have an '06 LSV and would like to put in under the drivers side dash similiar to the factory install. Would a 12" fit or am I better off going with a 10"?

    Madtown,

If you do some measuring, I think you will find that a 12" sub will not fit in the stock location. I have a 12" Polk Audio sub from a previous installation and from the measuring I've done concluded that it would not fit.
