Wakeboard Selection Help - Hyperlite State
Is the Hyperlite State a good board for a beginning wakeboarder that would like to be an intermediate rider one day but has no aspirations of flips, etc. Just being able to ride both ways comfortably, get some good height on the air, etc.
Also, what size board if I weigh 215 to 220 pounds? I can order a 140 or a 145. I think the 145 is the right board for me . . .

The hyperlite is a great board for learning and thrir is alot of room to improve.I have both the 145 and 140.We teach all new riders on both boards.I have taught kids as young as 7 on my Hl-state.I have ridden my 145 for 2 plus seasons, with both fins in and fins out, and love it.I would suggest you get the 140 based on your weight.
