    Default towing capacity

So I was wondering how much weight can you tow behind a LS with the 325 ? or how many skiers do you think? Just curious, my boat should be here in a month or so and I was wondering what my limits will be?

I've pulled as many as 4 kids and the boat didn't know it was pulling anything. I've had 2 adults on 1 ski, both over 200lbs. and there was no hesitation at all. I would not have even tried that with my old i/o. You should be able to pull about anyone you want.

These are serious torque machines! My wife and I had a nice 19ft boat with an Evinrude 140 on it for years. I would put the slalom ski on get in the water and tell my wife to HIT it! She would give it full throttle and then after what seemed like eternity the 2 stroke engine would finally hit its max torque and I would get up. Now we go and get the 200Hp+ MasterCraft, I jump in put the ski on and tell her to HIT it! She throws the throttle all the way down and I scream out in pain as she dislocated my middle finger on my right hand. These boats put out tremedous amounts of low end torque. I liken it to a locomotive. You just give it a little throttle and the forward motion begins. You CANNOT lean back on your ski and slow it down like I could with other boats! This nice constant pull also makes it so easy to teach begginers how to get up!
Good Luck with your new LS! I will be at the Atlanta Boat show on Saturday putting in an order for ours!

Yep, that's why I keep a tube of super-glue in the boat. To glue back on anything that gets pulled off

    LOL !!! Between his legs.

How many skiers you can pull is directly proportional to their level of skill.

I've personally witnessed 15 skiers behind an inboard.

Last year I pulled 10 with my Outback. Theres no doubt that I could have pulled more. But then again I've seen 3 people struggle to get up because the skills just weren't there.

Where do hook all the ropes when you pull 15 people?

You can actually deal with multiple ropes several ways.

We usually just pull the ropes thru the end loops and put them on the pylon -- the lower the better.

For our pyramid act in the ski show we made a harness using a 3 foot length of 5/8" rope. The harness rope has a loop on both ends, all the ski rope loops are threaded onto the harness rope and then the harness rope is threaded thru its own end loop and then attached to the pylon. It works great.

My show roper (spotter) is so used to dealing with multiple ropes that it really isn't much trouble at all. If they do get tangled up, they usually pull the tangled portion up close to the pylon so it doesn't effect the skiers.
