Default How many inches long are the back comparments in a 06 LSV?

Looking at buying some bags, just making sure they will fit. How long are the rear compartments in an 06 LSV?

So these should fit no problem then?

    Pro X Series V-Drive Sacs (set) - W701
    dimensions: 42 x 16 x 16 weight: 400 lbs. / 181 kg. each

p.s. how do you find the hookups? do they leak at all when you disconnect the pump?

and do you think the 400lbs would be enough for surfing?

I am sure those would fit fine. I think that is what is standard now on the 07 LSV...
The guy I bought my boat from had replaced them. They fit the stock fittings perfectly. 400 alone on one side will be ok for surfing. I do not fill both 750's when wakeboardng.. about 400 in each is perfect.. but surfing, 1 750 is great. I still have room above them for life jackets, etc when the 750 is full.
I don't know if the 400's or 750's come with the quick disconnect fittings, but FlyHigh has them. They are great to deal with on Customer Service issues.

    Enjoy.

    Hey 04outback,

Would you mind taking a pic and posting it the next time you fill one of the 750's all the way? I took have considered upgrading to those but am concerned that they would completely fill up the compartment.

    Thanks much.

    Al,
It will be awhile before I get back in the water. The only time I ever used the 750's full was surfing. Even Full you can fit a bunch of lifejackets on top of the bags. Usually when wakeboarding, I fill them to about 400lbs and their is a ton of room in there. I have put several life jackets and a wakeskate in there with the sac about 2/3 full. There is over 1' of space when full, plus, it does not take up the entire compartment at the front...
They are a perfect size for the LSV.. I assume your '06 has the 275lb or so factory bags.. the 07's switched to 400lbs.. I would think that for most folks, the 400's are pretty good for wakeboarding. I would be content with them if it was not for surfing...

Thanks BW, that gives me an idea. Yes, I am still running the '06 factory ballast. We do wakesurf as well as wakeboard and when it's just my family (two adults, two kids) there isn't enough wake for me to freeride.

How hard is it to ensure that you have about equal weight in the tanks when you are running about half full? I am pretty sure that they don't fill at the same rate. I guess you just have to eyeball it, huh?

Agreed, the 400 lb each bags would be perfect for us for wakeboarding but is not quite enough for surfing (for me anyway).

    Thanks and Happy Holidays,

    Al

    BW,

I measured my rear compartments and it seems to me that a 20x20x50 would pretty much fill it up completely when full, other than a couple inches on top. What am I missing?

Best I can remember, that sac does not square up completely when full.. kinda bulges around sides.. I can't remember exactly how much room was in there but I know I had some lifejackets in there on top of completely full bag...

    Happy New Year
