    Default V Drive Leak

I have been seeing oil in the bilge area and I think it is comming from my v drive. The oil level has been dropping slowly but has not dropped below low level. It looks like it is comming from and end seal next to the output shaft. Just enough to make a mess. Anyone else experience anything like this? Plan to take it to my dealer for repair after the season is over. Just trying to get an idea how much a repair like this cost.

Hi , I also see some oil floating on the water in my bilge...all levels are ok..well V- Drive warning light still keeps on till 1600 to 1800 rpm..but only when I run boat for a while, when I start the engine and get underway, after letting it warm, light shut down at normal 1200 rpm...not sure why.
Maybe is normal some oil in the bilge?

I started seeing this right before my Velvet Plate let go. The Velvet Plate is where the tranny connects to the flywheel, where a clutch would be on a car.

Are you noticing any strange noises or vibration when in gear? Mine was covered under warranty.

    Pete
