Default Need a new prop for outback DD 2007

Hi there, I have a new Outback DD 2007, but managed to mangle the prop on my 4th outing with it

Anyway, are there props out there that are better than the stock propeller? I figure if I am going to replace it, I might as well upgrade. I do a combo of slalom ski and wakeboard with the boat.

Thank you very much in advance for any information you may have.

The stock prop is a pretty good match for the OB DD. I'd be afraid I wouldn't like the performance of any other, i.e., less top end, engine revs, etc

I'm kinda partial to the look of a 4 bladed wheel, but you can see only when it's on the trailer.

    LedZep,
What are your riding intentions? Do you wake or ski?
I bent mine in may on my outback and replaced with the OJ XMP 11x13 3 blade cup. much better towing, but lost some speed... also a little higher rpm so a small effect on fuel econ...
If you ski only, I would stick with the stock.
The OJ XMP 11X13 is what Moomba puts on the Outback if you order the wake prop upgrade..

What is the stock prop on this boat? I have a 13.75 X 17.5 4 blade OJ prop that I need to get rid of. I have upgraded to the 14.25 x 14 OJ XMP

I'm not sure how this happened, but I put a 14 X141/2 four blade stainless on my 07 OB mid summer, and I actually per GPS picked up about 2 mph, with real strong holeshot. Only problem for slower skiers there is now a bit of a rooster tail. Because of the rooster and the fact that I am the only one in my boat skiing 36mph, I'm thinking of changing props again. The guys at OJ are awsum and willing to talk anytime about prop selection

I replaced my stock OJ 13X13 4 blade with an ACME 3 blade 543, it felt like a performance upgrade. BTW my boat is a Mobius LS 2004.

I do a combination of skiing / wakeboarding. More emphasis on wakeboarding, and plan to ride woth 1000+ lbs of ballast next season.

    LedZep,
The 11x13 was great.. I only lost about 2 mph top end and had great hole shot... I fussed at my wife alot the first few weekends as it was much more powerful and she was yanking my teeth out...
Not partial to any brand but that is the factory size upgrade if you get the wake prop from moomba.
It seemed to me like if you wanted to slalom, it was still speedy enough but had great hole shot.
