Wakeplate Guage
Recently my wakeplate guage has been jumping all over the place. It does not do it on the trailer or when the plate is all the way down, but when I put it up, the needle jumps and I cannot get an accurate reading of the wakeplate position. Anyone else experienced this?
Probably just a loose cable somewhere but I am not sure where to start.

Have you checked the trim fluid?

I have been looking online for information on troubleshooting and maintaining this system. Do I just put more fluid in? Does it have to be blead like a break system? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Pete, hope all is well. I am sorry to hear of your issue. What year and model is your boat? The system is self bleeding, the proper way to check fluid level is with plate all the way up to ensure the lines are drained back into the pump (top off if ness.). Try this first, if this does not help you can contact your dealer or [email protected] for additional troubleshooting. Brian Raymond
