Default boat speed changes a lot

I have a 98 moomba outback and the rpm's change a lot. By this I mean that when I am driving i have to work the throttle alot to keep it at a certain rpm. I have the 350 carb. I have friends with other carb wakeboard boats that keep steady at a certain rpm. Is there any adjustment i could make to the throttle cable or maybe something needs to be tightened?

I have a 98 Mobius and that is one thing I liked with the DD was I wasn't adjusting the throttle all the time. You may want to look at the spring tension on the carb versus the throttle cable resistance. It may be that the spring may need to be loosened some if you speed is dropping off.
