Default new boat, buy it or not?

    ok here is the question
my dealer has a new 2006 mobius lsv with decent options and 0 hrs
    price sounds ok
but here is the thing, we go outside to look at it and pull the cover
back and there is water up to the seat base's thru out the whole boat.
the plug was in and 2 weeks ago we had lots of rain, my conserns would
be wiring that has been underwater , the weight of this water stressing
the hull, i noticed that the walk thru glass would not fit down between
the windshield framing. boat was sitting on a wrong trailer-was for a
different brand inboard--tires looked low on air but mabe all the extra
weight. starter is going to have to be replaced. and what about
trans,v drive fluid's-the vents would be under water.
this boat is not exactly what i was looking for but the price is low.
they said i would get the correct trailer with it when purchased.
so what do ya all think? buy it or pass it up???????

thanks for opinions----im kinda thinking pass it up

FUll warrenty? Complete go over, and agree to some kind of 30 day deal fix anything no questions asked or take boat back? Make it your deal and maybe you can live with it. If your not happy at end of season maybe you can sell it and make a buck or two if the price is that good.

it would have to be at a substantial discount for me to take that boat. I can imagine that he has had it for possibly a couple of years even. If you are looking for a new boat don't settle for that.

well after thinking on it overnight---going to pass on this one.
isnt exactly what i was looking for

they are going to replace the starter and detail it and put on
    the showroom-would have full warranty

Ed, ive bought 3 boats from my dealer here -1/2 mile away.
i like how watersports picks colors and options and am
willing to drive for the purchase but worried about needing
work done and then my local dealer not helping me out.

    thanks for the reply's

I bet SC isn't too happy seeing dealers doing this with their boats. Looks like another "list too long" thread in the making. The dealer is detailing the boat so it looks like they would want more for the boat than anyone on this board knowing the original condition would pay. Doesn't reflect well on the dealership.
