Does anyone have an idea on to remove the swim platform rubber without damaging the platform?

You can peel of the old material by hand, using a heat gun or even a hair dryer if needed. 3M Adhesive Remover will help in removing the old glue that remains. Follow the directions and let it sit for a couple of moments and then scrape up the reminder with a wooden paint stir stick or the like. Take your time and you will be rewarded with a nice clean unmarked platform to re-cover.
