Working on ballast out of water?
Recently swapped out the stock bag on our 07 Outback to a larger bag. How can I test it out before going to the water, which is an hour away? Used fake-o-lake on the intake, but I don't think it has enough pressure to get the pump going. Any ideas?

Do you want to test the bag itself or the whole system? If it's just the bag, you can take it out and use standard waterbed fittings and a garden hose to fill it up. If it's the whole system, not sure how you'd do that.

I generally have to combine the pump on in the water with the boat moving forward to get a good prime on my bags. Sometimes when you first hook them up they won't work until they get that movement to prime them. Would be interested to find out if you are able to solve this problem.
