batteries
I am looking at running 3 AGM batteries....2 for stereo and 1 for starter. Was curious if anyone was doing something similar and if the stock alternator had any issues with the AGMs? Thanks

You may want to read the article at the website below. If you can control the heat and voltage you should do fine.

thanks for that link..great information. I have seen folks on wakeworld and other places that have had trouble with them and I think the reason is as stated in that article. To counter that problem, I am looking at putting a combiner in conjunction with the perko switch to control the voltage and keep them isolated when not charging...i.e. listening to music while boat is turned off. This is the one that I am looking at.

pretty easy setup and has a wire for the AGM batteries to keep it from charging over 14 volts.
