new rider need advice
Ok i just bought me a 03 lsv gravity games pkg,(the actual 1 of 2 boats in games) i have always had bajas and so, anyway whats a good length rope, good speed to ride at,Today i got to where i could jump the wake and had my pass set at 20, im about 180 pounds thanks

20 is a good speed, as for rope length I would say start at about 70ft, if that's too far you can come in some or go out more

I ride at 21mph with a 60' rope. I like it cause it makes it easy to clear the wake but i'm thinking of going a bit longer. Also, at 21, 60 feet is where my wake is prime. I'm fairly new to the sport as well, this is just what i've been comfortable with.

We ride at 23-24 mph on an 80' rope but this has taken a few years to build up too. Start with the standard 65' rope plus handle so actually about 70' total and ride at least at 21 if not 22, you need speed to give air and you need air to clear the wake
