quick questions -help?

Anyone know the correct tube diameter for the Moomba mobivus Rad-a-Cage tower? I used some calipers but am coming up w/ 1-20/32" which is pretty goofy (just a hair over 1-5/8"). is that right?

I need to get some spacers or shims for the clamps my new speakers came with but not sure where to get them.

i got one of those boss b530 speaker systems and the clamp they originally sent was 1-5/8 but wouldn't fit around the tube...so they sent me 1-7/8 and it's about 1/4" too big. pretty confused over here, but i'll ask them to send back some 1-5/8" clamps, hoping they originally sent me something different.

Either the clamps have to be a fuzz smaller diameter, or the tower has to be a lil bigger diameter. the other way round would not net interference and said clamp will not draw up tight unless a big enough gap between the two clamp halves are present.

hmmmm -the smaller clamp wouldn't close and the gap between the two pieces was too large for the crews to connect and start tightening. just a hair though. the new 1-7/8 is a 1/4" too large. do you by chance know where to get shims or spacers? i checked all my wakeboard resources online (companies that sell towers, speaker systems, mirrors) as well as google and can't find anything?

I have the fusions on my tower. They come with a few different size spacers. Wakeside sells them. May be worth a try.
