2000 Boomerang radio mount
I plan on installing a radio in my 2K Boomerang, i wanted to know where other 2K owners mounted theirs and what type of mounts did they use?

The radio components in our boat ('99 Boomerang) are mounted as follows:
- Radio mounted on the vertical board separating the driver (leg) compartment from the storage area. Just deep enough to shield from rain. It ends up being mounted sideways, and find that it does not interfere with leg room. - Amplifier (which has no switches or dials) is mounted against same board behind the radio about 2 feet --- out of reach of feet.
- CD changer is mounted on underside of dash in storage compartment.
- SubWoofer is way up in the nose storage compartment.
I can't take credit/blame for this arrangement as the boat came this way, but if you do this *just right*, you will also be able to hit the power button with your toe while standing up --- almost as convenient as a remote.
