The way my dealer put it, you buy the 340 if your looking to win the whose got the biggest stones on the lake contest...not necessarily the best boat contest

LMAO - I'm going to post a pix next week of our stones contest, it has gotten way out of hand.
8x Supra DD (the boat that started it all)
05 Moomba LSV
06 Supra 21 SSV GG
07 Supra 22 whatever (with the 340) - he wins
I will point out I have never heard anyone every say "nice boat but a little over powered."
As an aside my loyal ex-cubs scouts word to the 06 Supra driver when I was behind the boat on a tube -
"what do you think boys?"
boys - "kill him."
The tube rider wins by saying fine - come back around and get me. Staying on, you will die

Catalytic Converter on the 340HP
If you are planning on wake surfing, if you live in California, or if you just are more environmentally conscious -- the 5.7L 340HP Indmar engine with a catalytic converter might be of interest to you.

Found that CAP key did ya?
Why would the 340 matter with surffing?
I actually did that without the rope for about 4 seconds behing the 06.
No bags at all in the boat - he is putting them back in so we can try again, it is a hoot.
my 05 LSV has no bags either - I see a fat sack in my future.

Tis about the ayre lad
The nearer the boat, the more carbon emissions. The Cat Converter is said to clean up 90%+ of the CO-2 that engine emits. So while you won't feel a huge surge of power, it will be far cleaner air ... safer air ... both for you ... and for the riders in the boat.

Yea, I am a convert wrt CO. The Coast Guard put together a very persuasive video. I put an FAE on mine. "Sun headaches" are a distant memory.
