Poor starts
I just bought 2002 moomba outback it is hard to get started. I have to give it a good amount of gas to get it started it will run fine after it runs for a while at a high idle, if you shut it off then start it right back up it does fine but if you set on the lake for a while it has trouble again. I found that the float was not hooked up to the electric chock but after fixing that it still has a little trouble starting.

Do you get black smoke out of the exhaust during the warm up indicating a little extra too much gas? What is your location? If over 3000-3500 ft, you may have to pop those little caps off the carb adjusting screws and do a little tweaking.
