2016 Mondo Blower Motor
Hi all,
The blower on my 2016 Mondo has started sounding pretty rough on startup. It squeals loudly before settling down after 30 seconds or so.
It's not an emergency but I'd like to replace it, I can hear it at the rear starboard side of the engine but I can't see it (I'm no mechanic). The manuals I looked at haven't helped me locate it.
Does anyone know where it is? And what is involved in replacing it?
Thanks.

Under the engine hatch behind the engine while standing in the boat looking back. Against the hull you will see 3 black flex ducts zip tied. One of them has the blower fan mounted in it. I believe it is the middle flex duct. It is an Atwood blower motor.

Sometimes water will get in there and the fan that needs to turn goes bad or is hard to turn - corrosion.
On my older Supra, it was easy to follow the black flex duct piping. Mine was the middle tube (if I recall too - been a long time).
Easy to get your head back there as listen for it as it will be low in the hull towards the back of the motor. Look for a white inline fan.
Pretty easy repair, but sometimes not so easy to get hands down there - as with most wake boat repairs. They make 3" and 4" types - so measure.
Two SS screws hold the mounting bracket feet.
Two wires to cut and splice.
A few waterproof wire connectors.
Wire cutters and some zip ties for the tubes.
All of bigger companies make them - Atwood, Rule, ShurFlo, etc. I purchased replacement Atwood one.
I also recall someone buying an adapter for making the different sizes work = 3 to 4 . . . or 4 to 3 - but no need to get that deep into it.

Pull the port side engine cover, and you can get down in the rear locker and access it. Bit more room to reach across.

Thank you all, I'm heading to the lake tomorrow, I recall seeing the flex tubes at the back I just didn't think of looking for an inline fan.
