    Default waterproofing

I just bought a 2001 Outback. Its our families' first boat and I was wondering if anyone knew of any aftermarket products to put under the dash or under the front seats to keep things dry, other than just using plastic containers. Thanks.

    Default Keep things dry

We tend to go out on the boat for hours at a time so we ususally bring food with us. We pack a medium size ice chest which sits behind the driver out of the way. In a tuperware container we pack our dry items such as bread, cookies, plates, or napkins. For trash we have another tupperware container. This seems to work very well not only to keep things dry but to keep it organized. The 2 tupperware containers stack up in the rear trunk but are short enough that each one could easily fit under a seat. For the towels I have a vinyl back pack I found at a boating store. Works great and fits under the passenger seat.

    Stay dry, fly high!
