The way SC rotates upgrades by model year, it appears the SA is next in line. SL 2022, SE 2023, SV2024... SA 2025? I wakeboard 80-90% with the other 10-20% split between cruising, surfing, and skiing. The main reason I picked the SL over the SA is the bow walkthrough/wind dam and the leg cutout/seat flip up in front of the observer seat. I would assume these changes get added to the 2025 SA. Anyone else agree?

That was my thinking as well. I was going to talk to the dealer at the boat show next month and see what the numbers would look like with an upgrade from the 2023SL to the 2024 SL, just to get an idea of what the jump would be. Probably a bit to much to justify an upgrade. I love my SL, but I probably would have been happier with the 450. I have a buddy riding full ballast and I had trouble planing with the Acme 3591. I changed to the Acme 3145 and had much better experience wakeboarding full, but if I upgrade I would go to the 450 and possibly the SA.

Maybe SC will have a bigger design change for the SA - exterior look on that 22-23’ fork-style bow. That model was massively changed in years’ past

2013-14-15 SA (Shock and Awe) had a lower bow. 2013 was the last year for the 22SSV and Launch. Then the SA changed to the 2016 model look w/the higher bow- more of the current look.

It’s also PWT boat. So SC would make a big splash on that space.

My understanding is it’s going to be a 2’ shorter version of the redesigned in 2023 Se. Cost wise I went from a fully loaded 2022 sl550 to a 2024 se550. 183 hours on the sl and it was an 80k jump. The se and sl are very similar in cost so I’d assume you would be somewhere 50-70 difference.

So the SE features on a 2' shorter boat.
I assume more ballast and the boat will weigh a little more.
From the length perspective, that's what it is now with the same style bow.

SA should get a new design, wouldn't be surprised to see it jump up to 23' to more differentiate from the SV in size. SA has been 22'8", now 22'5", jumping up 7" would be nice for SA lovers.

2023SL 400 with 52 hours to a 2024SL 400 was a 98k jump. The thruster was the only option extra I picked so take away ~10k and I would be looking at 88-90k to upgrade year over year from 23 to 24.

I wanted a 450 but the builder didn’t enter correctly. They redid the quote with 450 and surprisingly it was only a few grand more. But, no way I am upgrading at that price jump.

My 23SL 400 was 216msrp, the 24SL 400 with thruster was 257k (250ish apples to apples), so 40k msrp difference but 98k to purchase. I took a pretty big depreciation hit. More than I was expecting based on what the salesman was explaining when I purchased.

Good thing I am happy with my boat overall and no need to upgrade. I was just interested if it would be anywhere close to reasonable. Currently it is not.
