Default Ok guys i need your help

So I am currently deciding between two boats, a 2001 Moomba Kamberra, and a 2000 Epic X22. First off what is the wake like on the kamberra without a ballast system, and second, what would you guys pick. Keep in mind we use our boat for two things kicking back with family and friends, and wakeboarding, wakeboarding being the more important of the two . Thanks

Hours? Price spread? Condition? Options? What is an Epic22?

I think this is all you.

Oh, Ride before you buy and you can judge the wake yourself

Well I would think that since Toyota quit making the boats, service and maintenance costs might be a problem. Also, the Kamberra is a V drive and I think the Epic X22 is a D drive. I think the Toyota was made to make a really flat wake with the lightweight Lexus motor. I would choose the big iron V drive for wakeboarding. Of course you are not going to get the most objective advice on this web site.

Sounds like the Epic was quite the epic. If you don't mind scrouging for parts in 10 years, the Toyota boat may be a classic someday since they built them for such a short time.

Bill Nichtern, Toyota's national sales manager announced they were closing down Florida, but will maintain parts availability for 10 years and retain technical managers for 5 years.
