Wanted to give some quick feedback as a newbie buying my first boards.

Started last summer with the LF and was a great board to start with. Running the dual-fin setup it's really stable and had solid push. I'm 6'1 210 and it's a really smooth ride. It's been good for first-time adults/teenagers also.

This summer wanted something a little more advanced so, per recommendation of my shop, got the Hyper 5'4 (also running dual fins, but they are small). It's a totally different ride, super "loose" feeling and even faster than the LF. I can ride about 3' farther back in the wave with the same push as the LF. Took this rookie some getting used to without the "traction," but after an hour of ride time or so, it's so much better.

For what it's worth, I usually have a light crew so the wave is good but nothing wild. I usually run like 7.5 pitch, -3.8 roll (regular), no autowake, ballast all full. That's not the wake9 recommendation but it works for me + I'd have to dump ballast to get more pitch with my normal crew.
