Are you always driving? If you have a driver, you could pull the rope in yourself. I’ve done that with newbies and helped them get into the sweet spot a little at a time.

Cool they are getting out there. Yea, toes closer to the wave will help a bunch. Most kids scared to move their feet once they are up b/c they do not want to fall. Thus they lean back too much.

When teaching some kids last summer, once I noticed their feet position, I put some blue tape on the front pad and got them to touch it with their toes while riding. Gave them something to look down and aim at.

They will get it with more reps this summer.

I have a t-handle rope if you want to have the kids try it. It has some knots the can grip further up the rope. Some like it, some don't.

Always down to try something new if it will help them out. Wife does the same on the new board. She has her weight on her heels and has a hard time transitioning to getting more weight on her toes.

I admire your ability to send the foil perpendicular, while at the same time protecting your head and diving forward. A man who has experience with the slice/dice nature of foiling.
