    Default Surf Plate Settings

Looks like my settings got reset over the winter, please remind me what setting the plates should be at. As I recall when switched to surf left , port plate at 0 and starboard around 65-70 (and vice versa for surf right)? ‘19 Helix, I have upgraded 1100 lb rear ballast and about another 2000 lbs of additional bags/lead. Also, what is a good center plate setting while surfing ? I usually keep it around 20-25.

Port on my Max is I think 65 and starboard was 70 I believe. Center setting, like surf plate settings, is all in what you like in a wave. I only use the center to clean up the face of the wave while some people use it to lengthen the wave. I prefer speed to lengthen and I don’t go over 20 for center.

I've followed this since Jon (SC) posted it and have had good results. WP-regular=0, WP-goofy=0-15.
