NBOA boat shield experience? extended boat warranty

Howdy everybody, happy Memorial day weekend.

Does anybody happen to have any experience with or knowledge about NBOA (National Boat Owners Association) and their extended warranty / service contracts? OR one call FPC premium marine protection service contract ? I think is the name.

Was looking to possibly buy one on the boat before the factory warranty runs out in a year or so and both have been suggested but very little info on them. NBOA will cover the 6.2L raptor engine for 10 years for about $3,000.00, which I thought wasn't too bad.

Just interested to see if anyone has ever bought or, more importantly, needed and used an extended warranty/service contract and what their experience was with it, who they used, etc. thanks in advance
