I have a liquid force rocket for big riders. Since I dont have a bunch of fat friends it gets little use and does well. The boat I purchased came with a second one that I would let go of for a deal.

You should feel good I didnt lump you in the fat friends catagory! Nothing better than telling a joke so funny HR wants to hear it too!
I second the phase 5 comment, rode both of MJH's phase 5 boards and they were both awesome!
I bought a hyperlite transistor last year for myself and I love it. Fast and loose, and a ton of fun to spin.2019 Craz

What are your thoughts on these boards and prices?
Phase 5 Ahi $850 (seems pricey for a used board to me, but I'm still trying to figure things out)

There's so many things to choose from and it's hard to know what to do simply because you can't really test them out. I'm willing to spend $$$ on a really nice board but just want to make sure it is going to be something I like. Or at least do my best to know.

I hear ya on the options! That’s how we ended with like 8 boards and only use 2-3!
We love our soulcrafts. Best board we’ve ridden. If you consider theirs give them a call or email they’ll guide you on what board would be best based on your height weight and skill level.
Amazing quality and CS as well.

My simple opinion on a big man board, or easy rider board for people that are not going to "shred", but just want to be able to get up, is not to spend big bucks on it. It will tend to be a board that doesn't get used a whole lot once people learn to surf.
