'05 Moomba Outback - Won't Rev Up In Reverse

Hi all, I recently purchased a 2005 Moomba Outback. I installed a Perfect Pass system on it and now whenever I put the boat in reverse, it won't rev up the further I push the throttle backwards. It essentially only has one speed in reverse. Is there a fix for this or is this just how they are?

Definitely not how they are. I have perfect pass on my 05 w no issues like that. Did it have this problem before perfect pass was installed.? Wondering about the cable routing.
