2001 Moomba Kamberra Kill Switch
Hello all, I am a new owner of a 2001 Moomba Kamberra with a Chevy 350 engine. I noticed the boat did not have the optional kill switch and was wondering if I could install myself and if so where I might find some instruction or if I should just let a pro do it? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,

Piece o cake.
.
Get you a kill switch like those that are the kind you want. West Marine or Boater's World (maybe Wally World, but I doubt it).
.
Find the 'run' wire on the ignition switch. You can do this by using a volt meter if you haven't got a wiring diagram. Mount the kill switch, sever the run wire, attach the ends to the switch. It doesn't matter which side, because all the switch does is complete the circuit.
.
You can test it by turning the ignition switch to the 'run' position and checking for voltage across the kill switch. Popping the lanyard off should cut the voltage.
.
Hope this helps
