Gas leaking from fuel vent

I’ve got a 1988 Supra Comp TS6M that pukes fuel out of the vent after I fill the tank. It will leak as I’m pulling on the trailer and it will leak while riding on the lake. It will last until I run about 1/4 out of the tank. Any ideas why and what I might can do to fix it? Thanks for any help!!

I am guessing there is probably a small float style check valve in that vent line that must be stuck, or has gone bad.

check vent line and if no check valve(our old supra we never could find one and it did same thing) install one and if there's one there, replace.
