2006 Mobius Direct Drive Water Pump Impeller Removal
The boat hasn’t had much use in 2 years and wanted to change the raw water cooling pump impeller. It’s stuck on the pump shaft even after soaking with penetrating oil and using the typical needle nose pliers, paint can openers, bump engine… it won’t budge. Tried the Jabsco removal tool and the ski pylon is directly in front of the pump, cannot use this tool properly.
Is there another removal tool that works or fix to get the tool to work?

Take the pump off and then you'll have plenty of room to get at the impeller and spin it by hand to free it up. Remove the 3 hex head socket screws that hold the pump to the motor and 1 smaller hex head socket screw connecting the bracket.
