I wouldn’t mind spending the money to go see the new one. I haven’t been to a movie theater in probably a decade.
Definitely go see it in the big theater. I would say it's as good as the original. Lot's of great flying scenes. Some BS of course, but that was also the case with the first one, and all movies for that matter. But hey, you go watch a movie to be entertained!

Wife and I have caught 3 new movies midweek at 10 am showings. The theater we go to serves food and drinks, so we have mimosa brunches with no crowds. Maverick was good flying scenes. A lot of it was filmed over some of my old stomping grounds, so I was getting distracted trying to figure out which valleys and mountain passes they were flying through.

Little better view of the wave we are getting. I feel like we have good push. Others are free surfing well. I’m still struggling but getting a little closer each time out. Running 1500 pound bag with another 600 pound bow sac on top. All in rear. Wave better with this setup then with weight in bow I’m finding.

This is why the Outback will always be my favorite boat. Tons of storage and ability to ski course wakeboard and wakesurf all in same outing.

Pat - Five years or so from now we will buy another direct drive to replace the '07 Outback we sold in 2016. As you note, its a great all around tow boat. Right now we are empty nesters, with the boys now grown men and starting families (Idaho, Wisconsin, and North Carolina). Yes, we still call Virginia home, living here in the rural area between Richmond and Charlottesville. My work is split between telework and the office in Alexandria. Great to see you enjoying that boat. Keep it up! - Deerfield

Good deal. My older 2 are grown and gone as well. NH and Reston VA. Still have a 13 year old at home though. Glad to hear from you!
