Default Mojo (2016) wake plate hanging by the hinge

Was putting my boat in the water today and the forklift guy called to my attention that the wake plate was hanging by the hinge. We pulled it back out, and I actuated the hydraulics, which still work. When we looked at it closely, the black plastic part that physically attaches to the screws on the transom had broken loose where basically it pulled over the screws. Absolutely no idea how it happened.

Anyone experience this? It looks like all I need to fix it is the plastic piece that attaches the hydraulic actuator to the transom (holds on my an easily removed cotter pin). I could just take the screws out and screw it back in with a new piece
. The problem is the electrical line threads through the middle of that piece as you can see in my photos, and I have no idea where I would disconnect that and reconnect it

    Never seen that.

Lenco sells the plastic part that the screw pulled through.
Check the electric actuator and make sure it still works. Otherwise replace the whole thing. It's plug and play inside the boat.

Was it in dry storage? Sort of looks like someone may have stepped on your plate. Pulled it loose.

I agree with you....is that a boot mark on the bottom of the plate?

If I were you I would want to know what that mark is on the plate. There was excessive weight or force applied to the top side of your plate. Your storage facility might have some explaining to do.
