    Default New mojo ballast upgrades

Got this in an email from wakemakers today. I don't know the size of my factory rear bags but I'm confused why the mojo upgrades are more then double the price of the makai and max upgrade.

It’s just an exact fit Enzo bag, lol. Not sure why it’s so expensive. Maybe the laser measurement broke the bank.

Agree the pricing seems way out of line… seems they’re cashing in on the Mojo volume and the need to add weight to get a decent wave. I’d really like to know exactly how much weight these upgrades add. From the FaceBook group, it had been posted that that add 920 lbs…. I suppose if they are a foot taller this is possible since the lockers are so huge.

yeah, just saw the pictures in the FB group, it definitely fills the locker, so it is more water for sure. But it makes me think someone is not accurate about numbers, either WM is understating the bag, or SC is overrating the factory ballast numbers. Even if the center bag was 1500, the rears would be 1250 each....

since it looks like the WM bag is just taller, they should have saved money and just put a piggyback on top.

Wow, I was waiting on this but glad I didnt, I bought 2 575lb bags for the midship seats and a pump for about $500. In my boat I needed more bow weight anyways. So midship bags made more sense for me. I also put a 750lb bag in the bow and 100lbs of lead under the drivers seat.

I heard they are making a full kit for the mojo with a front bag as well but it took some "modifying" hate to see the price on it

Does anyone have a link to the video? (not on FB). I'm curious how much they filled the rear compartment.

When I got the WM upgraded bags for my 2020 helix WM told me they didn’t think the oem bags were really 1000lbs as SC says…

These bags are advertised at 1460lbs each. I can't find what my stock rear bags are in the mojo to know. Honestly though im always riding bow high. I have 500lbs of lead in the bow and still can't get under 11 degrees pitch surfing. Rear weight would just make it worse.

Really? We had our ballast full yesterday and an 850 sack on the floor in front of the rear bench seat and we couldn’t get pitch above 8. Two adults and two young kids.
