Is my a3 tower prewited for more than 1 set of speakers?
Found this diagram online in a moomba pdf. Of course I found it because after installing 2 new 8 inch cans today, ran 2 new sets of wires up the tower only to find the cans hang way low and are super close head smackers. So before I go any further I was looking for info on tower risers to see if lifting the tower up would be a better option. While looking for info I found this wiring diagram it says there is a port and starboard alt. On it. Is that for an extra set of speakers?

My tower was wired for two pairs but for some reason they were really short and didn’t hang very far out below the gunnel. Was a bit of a job to extend the wires down to the amp rack.

Mine is wired all the way to the connectors just before the amp. After installing my new amp I was able to move the wires and clip the two additional wires just before the connector to be able to hook them up to the new amp. The tower wires I found were attached to the small rubber plugs on the tower. My new cans will be mounted to the sides of the tower kind of like how malibu does, since there was a bad risk of hitting my head on them. I have added wire to both portions of the upper tower seakers to reach the cans, amp is wired other than replaceing the ground wire, and just have to wire and install the speakers. My last obstacle is removing the speaker grilles from the 6.5 in roswell cans so I can replace the speakers in there as well.
