    Default '07 Outback Values

I got the opportunity to purchase an '07 Outback V with 167 hours. The seller wants $32,500 for it. This is my first boat, and I do a lot of wakeboarding/surfing with a bit of slalom. Would this boat be good for what I want to use it for? What is a good offer to make on this boat? Everything is in great condition on it, and it's a one owner boat that's been babied and well taken care of.

check onlyinboards.com and search for past sales and what is currently. that will give you a good feel for pricing but that price doesn't feel too far off in todays market.

it'll ski amazingly and wakeboard great but surfing will not be it's best quality. shallow depth and short length/width will limit your surfwave. our old 20ssv was a very similar hull to the obv and although we enjoyed the surfwave while we had the boat, stepping up to a 22ft hull several years later was a night and day difference in the wave. onwed several boats after the 20ssv and when shopping we nixed the 20-21ft boat segment based on prior experience.

all my .02 and post up pics of whatever you buy. boat porn is always welcome here!!!
