    Default Shorestation engine stop

    I just bought a used shoreststion 6000lb lift for my Helix, it has the engine stop on it. Should I remove this? Seems like it’s just for outboard motors? It seems like it will get in the way and could potentially snag the fins on the bottom of the boat if not lowered far enough?

    Yes I would definitely take that off. They are intended for outboard motors.
