Amsoil a substitute for the Delvac 50?

Just wondering if this is a direct substitute for the Delvac 50/Indmar 50 V drive fluid? The Delvac 50 and Indmar 50 are hard to get here but I can get the amsoil easily.

Found delvac sae 50 at summit racing for $43/gal and Amazon for $55/gal.

Certainly cheaper than amsoil.

For our Vdrive Indmar sent me Mobile SHC 630 as a replacement oil to use since the Indmar oil was backordered.

I'm in Canada. 1 gallon\3.8 liters of Amsoil is $70. 1 gallon of Delvac on Amazon is $225 and I can't find it anywhere else.

The dealer wants $45 for 1 liter of Indmar 50.

Amsoil it is!

Nope it’s doing great. It’s on the 2nd year with it. I’ll stick with it now as it’s easy to order in, not real cheap for gear oil but easy to get.

I went down a rabbit hole, and I no longer believe Delvac 50 is their preferred fluid. The Malibu thread linked below started it, but I also noticed a part number change in the manual around ~2018, which aligns with the info in the thread. Also, the Bakes Marine product description for the fluid listed in the manual notes a replacement for Delvac 50.

The cost differential is close enough that I'll likely use the Indmar product, but I would guess it's a rebrand of the 630...
