Gator step bubbling
My gator step had air bubbles all over it on my brand new 21 mojo. I took it in and they warrantied it and installed all new. I just got it back and again air bubbles everywhere. Is this just how it is or should it be free of bubbles?

My GS on swim platform bubbled. Dealer fixed it and bubbles didn’t come back. I doubt they replaced mine. Guessing heat and a heavy weight would fix it.

Take a small needle and pierce the bubbles.
You can then squeeze / press the air out and get the adhesive to stick.2020 Kaiyen

I would poke a small needle in it and try that method too. Just fyi, my 21 Makai has not had any issues with that happening. If it went down with no air bubbles showing, I am curious as to why they would all of a sudden appear unless it had moisture under it somewhere?

My guess is a few things.
Residual mold release/polish residue
Fiberglass outgassing
Adhesive outgassing

I used a needle, tried to push any air with my fingers, then my 50# lead bags. It worked.

I had this happen on my ‘21 Craz. Letting the dealer fix it. But curious as to causes and solutions in case it happens again in the future
