Vinyl Repair
I got a quarter size tear in the vinyl on the sun deck top compartment on my new 06 Outback and I was curious if anyone knows of a good product to repair it or cover it up? Looks like my wakeboard fin did a number on it.

Other than the tear I hoped you had a good weekend. I tried a vinyl repair kit on my back seat that made it worse than doing nothing. It sort of melted the vinyl. I have been taking my cushions into Heards Upholstery in Prosser as they get messed up. I had a custom towing cover made there for $400 and the driver's seat and my rear seat reupholstered for $100 this Spring. The problem with them is they tend to be slow to get work done as they get a lot of boats to do or they're out cutting hay etc. etc. They do an exact match and you'll be happier otherwise you'll stare at that rip everytime you get in the boat no matter how small it is. They don't take VISA, in fact they only take cash or check.
