Yes... If you look at the pictures, there is a stripe where the color changes anytime you can see the canyon walls. For instance, in the foil picture, there is a change with dark color above the head and lighter below the shoulders. That is the high water point. In the picture where you just see the canyon and a reflection, where the rock fall is toward the back of the canyon at the top of the pile, you see a transition from darker rock to lighter rock, which is the high water point. The level we have been used to for the past 10 years is about half way between the high and low water mark.

Wow! That is really a big difference. I bet you really do have to watch out for submerged rocks.

    Awesome pictures!

I hope somehow and someway this winter brings the snow pack needed to delay more drought conditions. I know everyone of you that live out here has been dealing/hearing/living with this data and life style and still making it work. It is a bucket list item for me to cruise the canyons and see everything and at this rate I don't think I would make it out there before they close the reservoirs to boating.

3rd week of September Powell trip was absolutely amazing! The beauty of Lake Powell is that the changing water level means it's a different lake every time you visit. The lower water level this year has exposed some pretty cool new features, some that have been submerged for 50+ years!

this picture shows the high water mark a lot better. The line where it goes from dark brown to white is the high level. I think 1984 was the last time it was up at full capacity. For reference on this picture you can see my son and a couple of friends on a ledge half way up.
