This sounds like a great late winter trip to get everyone ready for the boating season to start.

Everybody is here, lots of industry stuff here too. My buddy trashed his prop on his SE, and just so turns out that the head of OJ props wife goes to our wives salon. So he fgot a sweet deal ona new prop, and dude told him if we ever ding a prop to just call and stop by his house and get one so we dont lose any time on the lake. If you come up let me know!

Just got back from our Fall trip to Powell. Air temp was high 70s and water was 76. The mornings and evenings get a little bit cool but overall it was awesome. It is pretty quiet out on the lake this time of year which makes it perfect.

Really good pictures. I really like the calm smooth. Do any of the reflect any particular low water values that you could notice?

I may try to get out there next week. Is it waaaayyyyy too cold mid-october? I have neoprene shirts and suits if needed. Never been there before and would like to get the boat once more before winterizing.

Mid October is typically 60-75 for the high air temp and water is in the 70 range give or take 2 degrees. It is worth going just to tour the lake though, beyond any surfing or skiing you might want to do. I have found that you can easily get in the water in mid-October and feel fine.

For me it completely depends on the weather. If you had a sunny day in the 70s then it can be awesome. If it is cloudy and in the 60s then it's not worth it to me. I'd keep and eye on the weather and if you can get a couple of nice weather days then go for it. Be very careful and stay in the main channel. There are A LOT of submerged rocks and islands just under the surface that you can't see.

Yeah, I didn't quite type what I was thinking. I meant do those pictures have anything in them that might show where the normal water level would be.
