Default Tandem axle trailer axle torsion

I noticed that there seems to be some torsion between axles when I back up and park the boat. Not sure if this is normal or how I can remediate this.

What I can tell is that the trailer axles are 100% in line when traveling (I waited to post this until our next outing just to be sure).

I fear once the season is over the axles may become over stressed over the winter months if this is how it’ll stay parked.

    What do y’all think?

Totally normal, my Supra trailer does the same thing. It used to freak me out but I am confident that it is normal.

Did you turn as your trailer came to rest?

Mine does this if my final movement is turning.

If I back it straight, I have no torsion like that

Default Tandem axle trailer axle torsion

Like everyone else said this happens when backing and turning. I would not store it like that though. Just pull forward a little bit and finish by backing straight. That should fix it.

    Thrusters would definitely help!! Lmao!!

Gotcha. Thanks fellas. I do have a bit of a turn do perhaps I’ll do as you recommended and pull forward and back up straight again to keep the axles straight when storing.

    Next boat will have thrusters!
