Default Moomba 7" screen stays lit

Do any of you have this same thing going on? My 21 Makai 7" screen stays barely lit when power is off and key is out if I don't turn the batteries off.

Yep mine does it too. I haven’t watched it lately to see if it still does it or for how long.

My smaller screen has always been that way. I think it’s just the nature of the LCD panel when energized/ON but no UI running.

I'm guessing it could be a source of slow battery drain? I don't leave my batteries on for more than a couple of days, but then again sometimes I forget to turn them off for a week.

I would think it could definitely be a source of slow battery drain but I shut my batteries off each night and hook up the charger so I am not concerned about that. During the day when I am on and off the lift I leave them on and have no problems though.

While that might be true I have noticed when my batteries are off and I switch them on the screen stays “off” it isn’t until you cycle the key that this happens.

I noticed that same thing too on mine.

I haven't seen this on my boat yet but just took delivery earlier this month.

I have seen this. I actually like it because it reminds me to turn my battery to “off” before I leave.
