Default Update on what went wrong....

So I posted a thread saying how I came home to my 07 XLV smoking and

almost catch fire. Well I got it back from the shop and this is what they

told me: They had to replace the Relay from the wakeplate and replace the

HWP Pump. I was told that this part was on recall. Apparently this recall

notice was sent out days after I picked up my new boat. All in all I am happy

with the way Skiers choice handled my problem and especially my dealer.

Took the boat out today and it ran great! I dont know the part # that is on

recall but I think If you have a newer Moomba it would be a good idea to

check with your dealer about what is under your hood.
Contrary to popular belief, a boat does not run on "Thank Yous"

Is this for all the new moomba's with wakeplates or just the XLV?
Any news on this recal? And how can i check if my wakeplate is ok?
I am in Europe so my hope this recal thing goes beyond borders?

I really have no idea if it only affects the XLV or all. All I was saying is that

it would be a "good idea" if you were to check with your local dealer and

see what they had to say.
