Help with transom camera.
I have a new to me 2016 Supra SA450 and I can’t figure out how to get backup camera working? It’s a distorted unusable picture. I bought a new replacement oem camera and same result.

I don't have one, so can't speak from experience. But, since you say you are having same problem with a replacement, check the connector where you are plugging in for any sort of corrosion. Even if it looks good, maybe clean it anyway. Any other connectors in that cable too.

I just noticed if I pull apart RCA plug just enough the picture shows up, still grainy but it works. Is this some type of grounding issue. Any idea what I need to be able to completely plug in and get clear picture?

Use some isopropyl alcohol to clean the rca connectors. My bet is that 720p is the best quality you’re going to get via rca/single composite input.

Carefully pinch the 4 tabs a little tighter on the yellow end. Be careful not to break them off, but it will give a better ground.
If this doesn't work, run a new yellow cable from camera to display. Use a quality shielded one and tape the end to keep corrosion out.2015 Moomba Mojo Surf Edition
