I gotcha. He is just north of the 287 Bridge. We are on the south side of the lake off of SE CR 2370. Ya Katy adds another 30 mins to the drive vs Hockley and he is about 30 mins past us. Ends up taking us 2.5 hrs door to door so not to bad.

Few pictures from yesterday…the weather looked hit or miss with rain part of the day and after a 3 min rain shower the clouds all cleared up.
Boated from Winnebago down the Fox River to Omro for a corn roast.

There were a handful of older cigarette boats…thought this vintage boat looked cool. Would look awesome restored to the exact same colors (mid 90’s purple and all).

do miss boating the fox river and the locks out to longtail. we always put in at the depere launch across from st. norberts.
I did bago once and SWORE never again. the launch that has the channel to get to it was a biotch with a wakeboat when there's a lineup....
great pics....'06 Supra Launch 20SSV-gone but never forgotten

We always launch at Rainbow park- this is right at the start of Butt Des Morte. This launch is great as there are ( I think ) at least 10 launch ramps. I have never had to wait to launch or load.
We don’t venture too far on to Winnebago. We will head down the west side to the cove sand bar, but thats it and we usually stay closer to the shore line.
Next weekend we are going to head up the Wolf River to Fremont.Last edited by brad460; 08-22-2021 at 08:56 PM.

Playing around with a new drone. Sorry - I have poor editing skills but it’s a start! I just wish I could foil like my son. It’s very frustrating!
